As the law will soon say, everyone has to “Gender Reveal” (moment by moment) so that strangers don’t make the unacceptable error of self-assuming your gender, shade (colour is banned?), even mood? I am coming out as a self-identified male. Hetero at that. And white. And old. But how would you know what I want to be this week? Shouldn't I have a label? Or perhaps we shouldn't use labels at all? No descriptive adjectives, skin colour, hair colour, height, age, race? Just Homo Sapiens Sapiens - is THAT OK with everyone? As we all dive into the melting pot and it becomes harder to differentiate features anyway would we pick on eyebrows, pointy noses, eyes close together - or perhaps just what they're wearing at the time? Even names are changed depending on peer group or whimsy.

The pink represents femininity, the white represents lack of gender, purple represents androgyny, black represents all other genders, and blue represents masculinity. I suppose I’m blue then, though I am definitely white.

Bi-racial is new to me replacing mixed race, which replaced half-caste. All replaced phrases are by nature deemed offensive. No problem with that as long as it doesn’t happen too quickly before anyone tells me. But can there be no discussion, even? Trans gender, women, women with vaginas, unspecific, non binary. Nope - JK Rowling, your not even allowed to discuss it.

Am I allowed to become indignant if you mistakenly, in a bad light, call me by another gender (or species!)? Can I report you? Certainly a third party could, regardless of whether I am affronted or not. There is the story of “Chalkie”. A perfectly happy and intelligent, differently hued man who enjoyed his nickname. Til some 3rd party reported him and his friend for using it!

On a scale, or spectrum (oh, and I am on the “spectrum” too), I would say I am at least 80:20 male, Pareto be damned. I have my soft side, too. And humanoid, come to that. And it will come to that, one day, when AI and algorithms rule hand in hand.

I am particularly worried about the phrase "gender fluid". Gender fluids are not something that I want to know about, really. But it is becoming tiring deciding which of the "accepted" descriptions are real and which are a piss take. And which one you’ve chosen today! 

I don’t give a fig what you decide to accept, but as adjectives proliferate, you can’t get angry with me. Just inform me. And I’ll stop offending you. You’re not all assholes, I appreciate that.
